Overview

Setoria is a trading card collection platform that lets users browse cards, manage collections, track estimated card values, build decks, publish community posts, and send beta feedback. This Privacy Policy explains how Setoria accesses, uses, stores, and shares personal data, including Google user data when you choose to sign in with Google.

Data We Collect

When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, display name, username, profile image, authentication provider identifier, collection data, deck data, wishlist data, posts, comments, likes, feedback, private chat messages, message read status, card preferences, and basic technical information needed to operate the service.

If you sign in with Google, Setoria receives the Google account information required for login: your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture, depending on the permissions you approve. Setoria uses this Google user data only to authenticate you, create and maintain your Setoria account, display your profile information, and protect account access.

How We Use Data

We use personal data to:

• Provide login, account, profile, collection, deck, wishlist, social, private messaging, and feedback features.
• Show your public profile, posts, comments, and collection information when you choose to publish them.
• Calculate collection and card value views using available market and pricing data.
• Send account-related notices and support responses when needed.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve Setoria.

We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not sell Google user data or other personal data to third parties.

Private messages are visible to the participating users and may be accessed by Setoria only when reasonably necessary for security, abuse investigation, support, or legal compliance. Do not use chat to share passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not transfer, sell, or disclose your Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide and secure Setoria, comply with law, or respond to your requests.

Setoria uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, and storage infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf so Setoria can operate. Public content you choose to publish, such as public profile details, social posts, comments, and non-anonymous feedback, may be visible to other users.

Storage and Security

Setoria stores account and app data in hosted infrastructure. We use access controls, authentication protections, HTTPS, and provider security features to help protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Setoria and its authentication providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies to provide core app functionality. These technologies may be used to keep you signed in, maintain secure sessions, remember basic preferences, prevent abuse, and make account features work correctly.

Setoria also uses Google Analytics 4, with measurement ID G-Y8CJGZFPW4, only after you provide consent through the cookie banner. Google Analytics helps us understand visits, traffic sources, campaign attribution, page usage, and aggregated engagement. It may process technical information such as device and browser characteristics, approximate location, page URLs, referrer information, campaign parameters, and online identifiers. Setoria does not enable Google advertising storage, ad personalization, or advertising user data through this integration.

Analytics is disabled by default and is not loaded if you reject it. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie button shown on the site. Withdrawing consent prevents further Analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from the Setoria domain. Google acts as a service provider for Analytics; its processing is also governed by Google's applicable privacy and data-processing terms.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide Setoria, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where required for security or legal reasons.

Your Choices

You can choose what profile, collection, social, and feedback content you publish. Some feedback features may allow anonymous posting; anonymous posts are shown without your public profile, but Setoria may still retain account records needed for moderation, abuse prevention, and security.

You can revoke Setoria access to your Google account from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access may prevent Google login from working until you authorize it again.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when Setoria changes or when legal, security, or operational requirements change. If we materially change how we use Google user data or other personal data, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify users or request renewed consent.
